What is Bobo are proud to be working with Koch Media on the UK release of Red Dawn.

The artwork is part adaptation, part new creative with Bobo creating the background street scene of fire and destruction from stock images.

The campaign for Red Dawn has seen us create the UK Quad posters, Bus Sides, London Underground 12 sheets posters, and a wide range of online rich media activity.

What is Bobo are looking for ambitious and self-motivated designers with a love of film poster design.

Successful applicants will be designing original theatrical film posters, DVD sleeves, websites, online advertising, and much more, so if you’re looking for new challenges and the chance to become an integral part of our team then this could be for you.

Experience in film poster design is not essential – but the desire and creative passion to help us grow the company is a must.

Full time / part time position available for the right person.

In cinemas March 15 from Lionsgate comes The Paperboy. What is Bobo have been working on this since late last year, so there have been a couple of months of holding our tongues before we could talk about it – but news is now out.

Quad posters, advertising and outdoor 4 & 12 sheet posters will star popping up around London town soon.

What is Bobo are looking for enthusiastic and eager Social Media & Marketing Interns. The role will see you working closely with the creative director to help grow our social media presence, as well as assist in film research, watch films, and help around the studio.

Candidates should have good general internet, social media and computer skills. An interest in film and their posters would be highly advantageous.

ABOUT US: Based at Ealing Film Studios in West London, What is Bobo are a creative design agency work mainly within the Film and Home Entertainment industry creating dvd sleeves, film posters and promotional film advertising. Our Clients include Lionsgate, Artificial Eye, and BBC Worldwide among many others.

Applicants must be:

• Confident
• Highly communicative
• Self-motivated and organized
• Proficient in the use of the internet and MS Office applications
• Able to communicate to a high standard in English (written and verbal)
• Photoshop knowledge would be useful (but not essential)

Your tasks will include:

• Write blog posts, tweets, LinkedIn posts and other online content
• Promote What is Bobo by posting on forums, blogs and communities around the web
• Help think of new ways of promoting What is Bobo through social media and the web
• Assist with research to film design projects
• Watch films, and take notes
• Create and maintain a document relating to competitors
• Take messages.

This is a volunteer / unpaid role with reasonable out-of-pocket expenses paid.

The position will be part time over a one month period.

You don’t have to be a film buff or a design graduate, but successful candidates will need to show a desire to be involved, join in and carve out a niche for themselves.. so if you have any of the above listed areas, or think your skills will be of benefit to us then get in touch.

Qualifications

A degree in either journalism, media or marketing studies or any Arts degree that demonstrates that you can write clear and concise English..
